Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American singer-songwriter and popular actress. Raised by her mother within the USA she had to face a lot of racial taunts which gave her feeling of being unwanted. When she attended a 9th grade school audition in which she received high praise for her voice and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. Not only did it boost her confidence but her ambitions transformed. When she was 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23, she started her journey in Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, aged 23, her movie debut was You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot, she played the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC her role was given greater fame. An accomplished singer and producer, she's produced one single and an extensive work. In addition, she has spoken out in support of LGBT concerns.
