Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and activist for animal rights. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most famous movies. She grew up in an artistic family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the artistic fields. She began working as a photography assistant and later moved into acting and modeling. The first two films she appeared in she received recognition and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international success, earning her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. In just three films she was the highest-rated female box-office star in the entire world. Handprints, signatures and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
