Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been a popular American writer of cook books over the seasons. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina began writing policies and nuclear energy papers for the White House. In the beginning, she found her work as stimulating intellectually, however, she eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the shop extremely popular before selling it off and picking up the pen to write her first cookbook. Other cookbooks followed, as were magazine articles. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too began its run and was a huge success. She sells many products, from ingredients for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina did not go to a cooking academy and has never been employed in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. Her name is ascribed to her easy style of cooking as well as her easy approach to entertainment. She is well-known for her quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
