Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, singer-songwriter and actress. She is most well-known for her character on the CW television series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in films and television shows like How to Be Single Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, is the daughter of older siblings Sloane Momsen. It is the Center of Creative Arts is where she learned dance. In a Shake 'n Bake public service at the time, momsen was the first to perform professionally after she was three. Momsen was on hiatus in her career for more than three years prior to being cast as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB TV series. Also at this time Momsen was in the 2006 movie Saving Shiloh. She also auditioned for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, the part was awarded instead to Miley Cyrus.
