Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is a American R&B, soul and musician and singer. In addition to a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she is also nominated as an Academy Award. Andra Day is an extremely talented and powerful artist. It's not like she's an old-fashioned R&B professional, but her background in gospel jazz, as well as the blues are evident and translates into contemporary music. Andra Day's debut Cheers to Fall (2015) has topped the hiphop/R&B charts. Her contributions in Marshall (2017) have earned the singer a Grammy Award as well as an Academy Award. Amen and the singles Make Your Troubles Away and The United States Versus Billie Holiday all have singles that are making fans wait for the arrival of her new album. Andra day has been born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew as a child in San Diego and the metropolitan area. There she sang in church and attended The School of Creative and Performing Arts. She switched her attention on modern R&B to pop following her graduation however, she was eventually again drawn to soul and jazz artists she had listened to as a child. Kai Millard Morris was able to catch a performance she delivered and later returned to the studio with Day's tracks the singer. Motown legend Adrian Gurvitz was introduced to Day by the Motown legend. Allied to Gurvitz and Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day developed a popularity on YouTube and later signed to major label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day made her debut track Forever Mine on YouTube. It was quickly taken up by DJs who began airing the track on radio. Following her joining Warner Bros. Records, she began working alongside producer Adrian Gurvitz to create her debut album "Cheers to fall" (2015). This album featured the song Rise Up that became an anthem to protests for social justice around the world. Day was nominated for two Grammy Awards with the latter being Best R&B Album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is her second album, released in 2019 and an album that was conceptually based on Billie Holiday's life. She also starred in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film on Holiday. Andi Mattichak was an American actor. She started her career on TV series like Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her debut in film was when she appeared as Allyson in the series of horror Halloween. Andi Matichak, an American actress born on 03 May 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts in the United States.
